About: In the early 19th century, Don Jose Morales and his family migrated to San Martin Jilotepeque and dedicated their efforts to agricultural production. They started with a thriving egg business, then began cultivation of Bourbon coffee plants on the fertile soils of the region. Don Tomas Morales Chitic, grandson of Don Jose Morales, is the current farm manager. This year's harvest includes the La Maribel microlot, designated at 2000 meters and above. The crop presents dramatic flavors of creamy nougat, rich cocoa, and a sweetness that reminds us of ripe plum. All the best attributes of high altitude Guatemalan coffee can be found in this cup. Enjoy!
